About Women in Tax Israel
Our Mission Statement
"Women in Tax Israel" is a not-for-profit initiative designed to provide a platform for women involved in tax-related fields in Israel to connect, establish connections, and get to know each other.
The primary objective of this organization is to facilitate the exchange of professional and personal experiences among its members. It serves as a hub where women can share their career journeys, broaden their network, and foster meaningful connections in the tax industry.
The dialogue and connections between the members of the organization will serve as a support network, connecting women to other women in the tax world in Israel, and around the world, and no less importantly in the personal sphere as well.
We are intending to promote collaborations and the sharing of ideas, both casual and non-casual, that will be formulated in our group that may favorably affect our professional lives, the status of tax women in their operational environment, the influence and economic power of the women in the group and includes coaching of members of the new generation of tax women making their way in and up.
Women in Tax Israel intends to collaborate with similar non-profit organizations, which already exist in Israel, and organizations that operate in other countries which also unifying women tax professionals. Our members include professionals active in various centers of tax expertise, such as:
The academic world specializing in taxation, professors and faculty members
State prosecutors and tax expert judiciary
Tax managers and tax directors with positions in corporations and multinational companies
Government circles in professional departments of the Tax Authority and tax assessors
Ministries and parliamentary committees involved with the development and implementation of domestic as well as international tax policy-making and international tax treaties
The private sector for instance law firms and accounting firms
Also in Israel, Women in Tax, aims to bring together women specialized in, and connected to, the disciplines of tax from all sectors. We operate with great sensitivity to the rules that apply to women government officials, government employees and engaged with the judiciary that will allow also professionals from these sectors to enjoy the benefits of Women in Tax Israel, and we work – in consultation with them – to make their participation possible and suitable.
Women in Tax Israel guards carefully against commercialization and politicization of the organization.
